Threatened species

The term 'Threatened species ' as it applies to the area of forestry can be defined as ' a species or subspecies whose population is so small or is declining so rapidly that it may become endangered in all or a significant portion of its range'.

The term 'Threatened species ' as it applies to the area of agriculture can be defined as ' Species listed by regulation under ESA, and are generally given a lower level of protection than endangered species'.
